A Liverpool Love Story
The idea for a modern Liverpool beer came from our combined passion for beer and brewing. Setting up our kit under a railway arch just off Love Lane on Liverpool’s Docklands, we started to create beers that we and others wanted, local, fresh and inspired by place.
The results had great promise and were enjoyed immediately so we began looking for a new space to accommodate a bigger vision.
We set about transforming an old, dilapidated rubber warehouse on Bridgewater Street, in Liverpool’s Hip Baltic Triangle into our new home, combining brewery, distillery, bar and events space under one roof.
The brick railway arches of our first home are enshrined in our logo and call to mind an earlier era of Liverpool’s proud history as a shipping and trading powerhouse. Our Pale Ale became the City’s first commercially produced craft keg beer.
Our vision is aligned with the same creative and industrious spirit of which Liverpool is proud. We are still local, fresh and inspired by place. Come and visit.
