The Ginsmiths Experience – Gin Distillery Tour & Tasting

Join us for a gin distillery tour where you can discover how the character and culture of Liverpool is infused into each of our gins. You will learn about how we source local ingredients and combine them with exotic botanicals, carefully selected from around the world.

The gin tour will start with a history of gin, an introduction into gin stills and three tasters of our very own Ginsmiths of Liverpool gin. After your gin tour you can enjoy a Sunday roast in our brewery taproom.

To ensure that our distillery tours fall in line with Covid guidelines, we have created a package which includes food and has a maximum capacity of 6 people per tour. We ask that masks are worn upon entering the building and anytime moving about – this may include parts of the tour.

Distillery tours run every Saturday and Sunday at 4pm and cost £20* per person.

We also have a special Sunday package which includes a Sunday Roast for £32 per person.

*These are available to purchase as a voucher but can only be used when Liverpool is in Tier 2 or lower.

The Ginsmiths Experience Gin Masterclasses

If you fancy trying your hand and making and shaking your own cocktails, join us for an interactive and engaging gin cocktail masterclass.

You will learn about the history of gin and mixology from your personal cocktail master. You will then be invited behind the bar to learn the skill of cocktail shaking as you are taken through the process of making your own cocktail from start to finish. Each guest will make two cocktails each plus one that has been chosen and made by our mixologist.

The Ginsmiths Gin masterclasses are available every Friday at 6pm.

Tickets are £35 per person and include a cocktail on arrival plus two cocktails which you will make as part of the masterclass.

These vouchers are available to purchase but can only be used when Liverpool is in Tier 2 or lower.

The Ginsmiths Experience Gin Schools

Learn everything you need to know about flavours and botanicals that go into gin before creating your own unique blend.

The Ginsmiths experience begins with a history of gin and gin distilling. We will take you on a tour of our own Liverpool distillery and introduce you to our own gin, Ginsmiths off Liverpool. "Excellent Sommelier"

“We had booked a gin experience for four which lasted an hour. We were given information and facts about the history of gin and gin particular to Liverpool, then a guided tour of the distillery, following this was a tasting experience of three different Love Lane gins then a choice of our ‘perfect serve’.

Our guide made this very interesting through his interpersonal skills of manner, professionalism, friendliness and knowledge. A great guy who made a difference to our day. Highly recommended.”

"Gin experience"

“Visited for the gin experience and brewery tour with a party of 9. Very enjoyable and informative as conducted by Sean. Tasted the 3 gins they make and then had a beautifully made G&T. We also had food which was delicious.

The interior and brewery are outstanding and very clean. Customer service excellent from Sean. Third time I have been and would highly recommend.”
